We were honoured to welcome our distinguished alumnus, double bassist Basso Chan, back to his alma mater to host an engaging and dynamic jazz improvisation workshop for our students.

During the event, Basso collaborated with several music teachers, captivating the audience with their masterful skills and powerful performance. Together, they guided students into the expressive world of jazz, exploring the joys and artistry of improvisation.

The workshop was met with great enthusiasm. Students participated actively and responded with immense excitement, which not only broadened their musical horizons but also allowed them to experience the unique charm of jazz firsthand.
