"Project Soothe" Photography Programme & Photo Exhibition

2026/04/21

Our school proudly collaborated with the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau and the TWGHs Ho Yuk Ching Educational Psychology Service Centre to implement the「Project Soothe」 Photography Programme.

On 20–21 April 2026, our student ambassadors successfully organised the 「Project Soothe」 Campus Photo Exhibition. The event blended mental health education with artistic creativity, inspiring our community to explore emotions and discover practical ways of self‑care through photography.

Students’ works captured diverse themes such as skies, flowers, animals, and waterscapes. Each photograph conveyed a unique story and heartfelt reflection. To enrich the experience, interactive booths were set up:

  • Photo Exhibition: A showcase of high‑quality student works with captions, reflecting their perspectives on their daily life.

  • Postcard Mailbox: Visitors selected postcards made from student photos, wrote caring or encouraging messages, and posted them into the “Project Soothe Mailbox.”

  • Souvenir Area: Souvenirs printed with student works were distributed, allowing participants to take home a piece of warmth.

  • Mood Message Board: Teachers and students shared their feelings with emojis or short notes, fostering genuine exchanges.

  • Photo Spot: A check‑in corner where visitors captured memories of this meaningful event.

* VR Experience Zone: Featuring student‑produced VR films that guide peers and visitors through the campus, offering an unprecedented visual journey.

The exhibition not only enhanced student ambassadors’ photography skills but also empowered them to practise emotional regulation and stress management while planning and sharing their work. Together, we created a caring and positive school environment. We sincerely thank all teachers and students for their enthusiastic participation, which made this meaningful event a memorable journey of light and shadow on our campus.
